All about our fibers

  • We extract our fibres from beach seagrass - a natural byproduct that has, until now, gone unused. By turning this coastal waste into a valuable raw material, we’re giving new purpose to an abundant resource that would otherwise be discarded.

  • Our extraction process is a sustainable and less harmfull process than conventional fiber production. With minimal waste and water usage our fibers are over 90% more sustainable in production than cotton, linen and polyester.

  • Seagrass is naturally biodegradable and remarkably durable. Unlike algae, it has no unpleasant odour, and it’s naturally flame-resistant - all qualities that make it a strong candidate for a truly sustainable fibre.
